Founded in 1973 and named for proprietor Bob Adlers Favorite Rolling Stones Album, this locally-owned restaurant and saloon caters to an eclectic crowd, looking for elegant dining in a casual atmosphere.
With an extensive wine list and rotating craft beers on tap, the Beggar’s atmosphere is a decidedly unique experience. Come on in and enjoy a nice glass of wine on Wednesday and return on a Saturday to find that rare stout and an entirely new list of brews.
And indeed, the menu offers comfort food with a twist of elegance. Even an American classic, such as macaroni and cheese, gets a Beggar’s kick start with a special blend of Münster, Havarti and smoked Gouda cheeses. This is a menu that has it all, from a Santa Fe crumbled chorizo omelet for breakfast to an upscale seared salmon for dinner.
The home-style elegance evident in the menu carries through to the atmosphere, making Beggar’s a destination hot spot for breakfast with the family, a dinner date or a night out with friends.
Any occasion, whether it be a first date night, birthday celebration, baby or bridal shower, we have a private room available to accommodate. Give us a call for availability.
